15 Easy Halloween Nail Designs You Have to Try This Fall

As the leaves change color and the air gets crisper, we know spooky season is just around the corner! Halloween isn’t just all about costumes and candy, it’s also a great way to show off your creativity with makeup, outfits, and yes…nails! I’ll be going over 15 Fab Halloween nail designs that are sure to make your nails look scary (and cool). Whether you’re invited to a costume party or you just want to get in a halloween mood, here are some easy halloween nail designs to try

1. Classic Orange and Black Nails

You just can’t go wrong with classic Halloween colors! Paint your nails bright orange, and add black accents in the form of stripes, polka dots, or even jack-o’-lanterns little faces. I would go in with a matte top coat for the orange and keep the black glossy.

How To Do It

  • Base coat
  • Two coats of orange polish
  • With a thin brush or dotting tool, paint black designs (stripes, polka dots…etc)
  • Seal it with a top coat. (matte or glossy)

This is one of my favorites, Spider Web nail art! This design is a perfect mix of spooky and chic.

How You Can Do It:

  • Paint your nails black for the base.
  • You can paint a web in white or metallic silver color with a fine nail art brush.
  • Add a small dot of black nail polish for the spider, super simple but effective!

3. Ghost Nails (Boo!)

May include: Almond shaped nails with a white tip and a ghost design. The ghost is outlined in white with black eyes.

These nails will definitely raise some spirits and are one of my favorite easy halloween nail designs to recreate. To create a ghost French tip, blend a white tip into a sheer or light color base.

How You Can Do It:

  • Apply a sheer nude or light pink base.
  • Paint on ghostly tips with white polish and a small brush.
  • Dot black polish to create eyes and a mouth for each ghost

How You Can Do It:

  • Paint your nails a pale orange color.
  • Using a small brush, paint on small pumpkin faces with a black polish or tiny green vines at the base of your nail.

How You Can Do It:

  • First, apply a deep navy or black nail polish base.
  • Then paint a simple haunted house outlines with white or yellow polish using a nail art brush. For this you’re gonna want to paint vertical and horizontal stripes until you get something that resembles a house
  • Add some stars for some extra magic.

How You Can Do It:

  • Paint your nails with a dark green or purple color.
  • Apply a glitter top coat.
  • Use a thin nail brush to create stripes in form of a witch hat, crescent moons, and a witch broom. Make sure the color you pick contrasts with the green or purple.

How to Do It:

  • Start off with a white or nude base color.
  • Create the dripping on the tips using red polish. (You can use a thin nail brush for this or you can just dot red nail polish using a toothpick or dotting tool and then painting downward lines for the “dripping” effect.
  • Seal it with a top coat for a nice shine.

How You Can Do It:

  • Start with a white coat for your base
  • Paint three stripes on your nail using yellow, orange, and white nail polish
